Poem Of The Day
|
To Speak
if one day
i were to start talking
would i ever stop?
would the words
escaping the walls
set everything else free
or would they merely
flee,
their own release
reward enough?
tumbling in a rush
would there be strength
and meaning
or just whispy rushes of air
too disconnected
to disturb the weaves and leaves?
in the recesses of my mind
i contemplate speech. |
